MessageThese buildings have to be kept.

Heritage is important. The local people the people who wish to remember the heriatge of Kent and the UK should be involved, not SEEDA. They just won't to demolish everything that is old and make way for new unsightly developments for the sake of money.

MessageYou could turn it in to a industrial working museum. like the Black Country Living Museum near the City of Birmingham. You can learn lots of skills in foundary work and welding etc if you can get these sort of facilities in place.
I do know of people that might be interested in restoring steam locomotives there. Remember engineering is an art.

For those of you interested in steam locomotives one of the original engines to have worked at the colliery St Dunstan is at the East Kent Railway in Sheperdswell.
Along with Snowdown which is a diesel loco.

We are open every Sunday if you wish to visit. There is also a bus rally this Sunday 7th June.
