MessageGet yourself a set of rechargeable batteries. It will go through a set in no time (about 10 hours per charge)

Sorry - but the process of connecting to the bluetooth adapter is out of my control - consequently it needs to stay connected all the time.

BTW - I am about to release v2.2 that will control the mouse using the nunchuck - actually works quite well.

Thanks for the kudos.

MessageFantastic program.
just found it today and was exactly what i needed. I couldn't find anywhere on the site how the program handles battery power. I would like to leave this program running perminantly on my computer connected to my tv. will this drain the batterys the whole time? is there a possibility of a button that could put the wiimote to sleep and theen another to wake it, or any to wake it if sleeping?

Thanks so much for developing this program.

MessageYes you would be an idiot - just kidding.

This was requested by another guest a while ago - and my response was, would you actually use this feature?

If so, I will look into it for you - otherwise it does not really fit into the scheme of things for BlueTunes. "Then create another app and call it something else" would be your response. And I would respond "I am doing this for free, and that will take alot longer than just adding it to BlueTunes".

Give me an idea of what buttons to map to what features - that way I can quickly add this with little effort - the button functions will not be assignable.

MessageWould I be an idiot if I asked for functionality with Microsoft Powerpoint?

Would be pretty cool not to have to grab for your mouse every time to skip a sheet or something. Just hold your very cool Wiimote and take control of your presentation. The four point press button would be perfect to go forward or back. Next to that add functionality to go to full screen and weve got ourselves another great add on.

Right?

MessageIn response to John and the Vista issues - I did a search on the web and it looks like it has to do with user rights. Make sure you are logged on as administrator - and if you already are - make sure the user rights aren't screwed up.

MessageSure - BlueTunes can control the computer mouse pointer - you will be able to control it that way initially.

I will look into something a little more advanced shortly - such as pressing buttons on the Wiimote to perform specific functions.

MessageWill this work with VeohTV? I plan on building a Windows Media Center-based Home Theater PC. I intend on installing various streaming internet video services like Joost, VeohTV, TVUPlayer, etc. VeohTV is located at veoh.com

MessageHi Mike,

Great work on this brilliant application you designed. I was running WinXP x86 and it worked like a charm. I recently upgraded to Vista x64 and downloaded the appropriate vesion from your site and installed x64 .Net 2.0 and I get this error when trying to start up Bluetunes. Also, it installs the program into the x86 directory, is that right? Any help would be apprecitaed. Thx in advance, John

MessageThat's definitely an odd situation.
Exactly which media players have you tried that don't work? If I recall, Foobar2000 did not work for you previously.

The only thing I can think of is that BlueTunes can't find the Windows Handle to the media player you are trying to control.

Regarding the media players that don't work - does BlueTunes automatically load the media player for you?

Do any of the previous versions of BlueTunes work?
What version of Windows are you using?

Do me a favor - whatever players don't work for you - give me the name indicated in the Title bar of the media players (the topmost blue portion of the application window). For instance, for BlueTunes it cycles between the word 'BlueTunes' and the battery level. Also, give me the version of the media player.
