| Message | I just wanted to tell you I have seen every movie you have been a part of, and your work is entirely genius. I love Black Swan and Pi especially, but Requiem and The Wrestler are great too. Even Below was pretty thrilling. I am in the middle of writing a "career thriller" as you have now done with a mathematician, a crack dealer, a wrestler, and a ballerina. The name of the book is called: The tenth Being. Its about God,nine beings mand before man., and a book of prayers that come from my dreams...ties in with Chinese race being the race after the flood, at the Tower of Babel. | Message | I've been a huge fan of yours ever since I saw Requiem for a Dream five years ago during my sophomore year of high school. Not gonna lie, I had decided to watch it because I was madly in love with Jared Leto at the time. Ha, oh silly celebrity crushes. But Requiem remains my absolute favorite - I've rewatched it countless times, and the film is how I realized that I have a taste for darker themes in film and literature - Chuck Palahniuk, Bret Easton Ellis, Haruki Murakami...I began to plow through their novels in the years after watching Requiem and Pi. The Fountain was wonderful, The Wrestler was powerful, and Black Swan....wow, that movie was like a kick in the gut. A beautiful, devastating kick in the gut. I thank you for all of the fantastic work that you've done, and that I'm sure you will continue to do - I'm glad to see that films as powerful and thought-provoking as yours are being seen by audiences worldwide, even if they do have to share screens with the Generic Explode-y Action Flicks of the world. XD |

| Message | I finally got to see Black Swan. As in all of the other movies you've directed and/or produced. I applaude you as the world has. I have never been compelled to actully type to a director before. I am a music producer and no I am not soliciting work. LOL I am making my rounds with film students and independant films and directors. I also love to write. Mainly short stories of horror and terror. But your vision rather your gift is seen and felt by many including myself. I simply wanted to say in all sincerity and seriousness. Much continued success. Be safe and be well. Darron |
