| Message | I had a misrable time there, I did have some friends, "Spider" Moore, from Berlin, and "Billy" Alan Barter, from nienburg, coludnt wait to leave, I was forever in mr Penningtons Geography club(Punishment), my shoes were often nailed to the floor, and so had to wear wellies, the bed was aple pied so often I learned to sleep at a crouch. I also learned to take stuff with out sugar, as bieng a CC in fliegerdiek, every one else had stuff before me, the cooks saw this, so I never told any one that they gave me hot milk on the cerials, as the cold had run out. I remember "Bonterhiem Bricks", and "gaffers" and the ice cream. I also remember the "Greenfingers club" (Gardening), as it used to get me away from the school, as we had frequent trips out to see other cultivations.I forever had detention, and frequently missed the bus back to fliegerdiek and had to run back to get to the evening meal. I hated weekends as they used to drag, and bring the worst out in people. The dances in the atticks, were ok, putting newspaper up at the windows, playing 5aside footie, with a pair of socks as a ball!!, And haircut parade, when a biro mark was drawn around the head, on the line the barber was supposed to make. We left early(Sister, "Eddie" Edwina Larner ), due to my dads posting to Blandford in Dorset.I have fond memories of a Mr Mac Nicholas(English) was one of the only teachers to take a sympathetic view. Later on my part I found out That I had mild Dyxlexia, what a struggle it was. |
