MessageWell I was just having a look at WHV in Google Earth, trying to find PRS not much luck Iám afraid however just typed in PRS in google and landed here. smilie Some of the storys jogged my memory and I remebered a few things that happened to me there:- one was somebody forgot to lock the Tuck Shop door one night, and was promptly raided!this lead too me having to cut the grass deich with a pair of hand scissors each evening after school. Another was when I took up a bet for 10Dm to climb under the kaiser Wilhelm Birdge, this cost me 3 weeks Detention and no sunday walks on the flieger deich. All said and done I had a great time at PRS I loved the sports and received a very good education.I remember once having to go the Headmaster,Who we all called the "KOPF"-"HEAD" my German not being so good at that time I thought this was his Surname and promtly used it while addressing him. Whoops that cost me one across the bows with a huge Dunlop slipper,Ouch!! Sundays were the best though after lunch going for a walk on the Fligedeich with a Girl smilie Iám not going to mention what this lead to.Somebody mention before that it was cold in winter and if I remember right that juniors had to wear short trousers with long gray socks. all my regards to all the people that remember me and may the loving memories never die.

MessageJust saw greeks name on the guestbook. We just to live in Lemgo. I hope all is well with you.
My little brother Adrian was in Lawson. Remember a few names George Domville, Lloyd Precious Karen McDonald, Marion Sprackling, jackie Humphreys, jill Beaumont. Quite a few crushes in that lot i imagine.Play footie, basketball and hockey, the last one because practice was on the main site with the girls. The brother and someelse got caught on an iceberg, can anyone remember that. They crash out the Air & sea rescue. I can remember theEnglish teacher Miss Murray, i think i even fancied her for a while.Anyway stop rambling and say hello to all that know me. Great times

MessageHi my brother (Paul Sadler, now in Canada)and I both went to Collingwood 58 to 61 I was a year ahead of Paul,I joined the 2nd Year. I may have the years slightly wrong, old age!I have re visited Wilhelshaven in 1965, whilst working on Shell Tankers, we drydocked in Hamburg, and took a trip to see the old school. In 1973ish on a driving holiday to Denmark and finaly in 1998.A lot had changed, tarmaced causeway, marinas all over the place!I rememeber the really harsh winters, no one believes me the sea used to freeze!! I remember Mr Roberts (Robbo) one of our house masters, I remember the buses that used to take us from the main building to Collingwood, and encouraging the German drivers to go faster and overtake on the causeway other buses. Not much traffic in those days. We were walking over the causeway one day and a American convey of scout cars stopped to ask us, in German, the way! When they found out we were English they could not understand it at all!! Mixed memories some happy others not so. Not come across any one from the old days, nam,es are hazy, two come to mind, Heaviside, McGee. Well if you remember me or my brother send a message or email. smilie
