MessageHi folks, Well I was in Springfield, IL and stumbled accross a 1916 Sundstrand Adding Machine. I've cleaned it, oiled it, and it works. I'm looking for instructions on how to use it. If you push the lever all the way forward it does something to change the chain of logic. Still looking. smilie

MessageGreat video of the original abacus, Mr. R!

You should consider adding an announcement mailing list or RSS feed to tell people when things are added to the site.

MessageHello Elizabeth

Thank you for the kind words about the site and the Tiger video. As for selling your Tiger calculator, ebay is how I would do it. (I'd try listing under vintage calculators, or under Antiques / Scientific Instruments.)

Good luck!

MessageI acquired an odd ancient adding machine with japanese characters on it from my grandfather, and it sat in a closet forever - I took it out yesterday and did a little google search to see if I could figure out what it was, and lo and behold! Not only did I find out it's a Tiger Calculator made in 1934, I now even know how to use it, thanks to the video of the Tiger in action.

It's a very cool machine but I have to admit I'm not a huge retro calculator buff, and I was wondering about how I might get rid of the thing - how/where could I advertise the fact that I have this machine and would like it to go to a new home? Clearly there's a rarified group of souls out there who appreciate these machines and collect them as well - -

Thank you for this terrific web site!
