| Message | The olympics are about the athletes and the world coming together for the spirit of the games, not political issues. China's treatment of Tibet is a political issue and has no place in the Olympics. Boycotting the Olympics does nothing but hurt the athletes that have trained their entire lives for this very moment. I was an athlete training for the 2002 Olympics and it was the single most exciting moment of my life and I cannot imagine denying that moment to all the athletes and their families. Do not boycott the Olympics for political reasons, it doesn't solve the issue and only hurts the athletes. |

Should we not also be repremanding the Olympic committee that chose to reward this great privelage to such an unworthy country in the first place?
