MessageI've been a Thomas fan ever since I watched my first TV show ("Thomas Comes To Breakfast" =) ), and since then have collected several rooms of Thomas memorabilia. From drooled and teethed on wooden Learning Curve to Bachmann and Hornby trains, I've collected quite a lot (just ask my friends and family) which I hope to pass on someday to my own children. It's too bad that the television series has gone from unique model action to run-of-the-mill CGI. Its great to have a forum to reminisce about Thomas and common childhood memories. If we could somehow bring back Britt...

MessageI am 6 years old and am a keen Thomas the Tank Engine fan. I have 16 engines and more track than my mum needs to know about. I previously had a copy of Thomas and the Magic Railroad but to my great disappoitment it has been wrecked by excess use. I would really appreciate it if you could let me know where I could puchase another copy. Grateful to talk to you thanks Jeromi.

P.S. this weekend weare going for a ride on Thomas the Tank Engine and possibly Bulgy.

Hi Jeromi,
Well, we hope you have a fantastic day out with Thomas and Bulgy. I think our friend Britt Allcroft who made the film back in 2000 will be overjoyed at how much you enjoy Magic Railroad, and how it's still able to connect with kids your age.
Fortunately, Thomas and the Magic Railroad is still well stocked in various retailers across Australia, and a Google search will probably bring up a lot of good retailers who still sell the title on DVD. At least that way you won't wear it out as much - DVDs seem to last forever... or just as good, LONGER than VHS!

MessageMy son LOVES Thomas and all characters pertaining to the little blue engine but especially loves the Magic RR.Favourite character is Diesel 10.Despite alot of negative reviews elsewhere about this movie,it seems to never grow old!
Long live the Magic RR-may it become a classic and stay a classic never to be forgotten.

Dear Palika,
Outside of the books and TV show, we too wish that Sodor was a real place :) The nearest you can get to Sodor in the UK is Thomas Land at Drayton Manor in London. HiT also has an exhibit of a few of the models that were used in the TV Series set up there :) Directions on how to find Thomas Land can be found on the Drayton Manor website.
