What do you think of the website?Enjoyed visiting!
MessageCame to the site looking for information on my family, the Cooks, who last lived in Welland before coming to the States in 1871. Lived in a residence near Pomona Cottage, Pomona House, Ullenhall Cottage (wonder if any of these places still exist?) At any rate, it looks like a lovely village, and I enjoyed the site. Hope to visit the site again--and the village itself in near future. P.S. My older brother is a retired train engineer and loves steam engines--he will be fascinating to hear about the interest there in Welland.

MessageA really lovely website. Just love the photos. Living in the States its so nice to see 'local' photos. Quirky things like signs and road markings you may take for granted.

Keep up the good work. When we come over next year Welland will be on our must see visit list.

Have a nice day all! smilie

What do you think of the website?a really lovely site.
MessageA website that can be enjoyed by people living in the Malvern area; and those who live miles away; but occasionally have the pleasure of visiting and appreciating the beauty of the area. I would imagine it to be truly invaluable to the housebound in the St. James' Parish. The inclusion of the photographs taken locally is a wonderful idea. Well done to all concerned.
