MessageMr. Shey,

We do use the Bible as one of our sourcebooks; however, our founder taught that "all beliefs are valid to those who hold them," and we honor all religious paths and we seek the essence of wisdom they offer.

We generally believe that there is one energy or power that flows in and through all, and that manifests as all. This energy is called by many names, such as Infinite Intelligence, Spirit, God, Goddess, etc. We believe that practices such as prayer, meditation, mindfulness, centering, etc. are actually scientifically valid (which has recently been supported by scholarly research) and align us with natural law, with opens us to the Presence of this Divine energy.

I recommend that, if you wish to learn more, you read "The Basic Ideas of Science of Mind" by Ernest Holmes or "What Religious Sciences Teaches" by Holmes.

If you would like to work with a practitioner regarding your dreams, you may send a message to our prayer team and make a request.

MessageRev. Hopewell,

It's really a historical difference. Dr. Karle was trained and ordained by UCRS originally, and later switched to RSI so he could train ministers locally in order to spread the movement.

RSI later implemented policy changes that imposed limits that would have eliminated many of the smaller churches located in very conservative areas or turned them into study groups.

Dr. Karle decided a new organization was needed that recognized a wider variety of ministries to allow for small churches to continue to form and grow and for ministers to also pursue other professional outlets.

GRSM is changing further to be less "fundamentalist"--recognizing that, if he were alive today, Holmes' philosophy would be elastic and evolving and would continue in his spirit of "open at the top."

MessageOn 17 December 2006, I had a dream about the destruction of Las Vegas by an earthquake. If you want to read the dream, go to: wallsofjericho.50megs.com

MessageWalls of Jericho, welcome! I hope you'll take a look at some of Dr. Ernest Holmes' writings. He is the founder of our denomination. In Science of Mind magazine (available at most bookstores), you'll find that biblical writings are frequently cited and discussed.

Love & Light,
Rev. Jane

MessageI am a U.S. Citizen and a Born-Again Christian, I picked up a hitchhiker out of Faith last week and he told me he was a prophet of the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the creator of heaven and earth, The GOD of the BIBLE, the Father of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord and Savior. He said to me that he recieves visions and dreams from the Father and obeys Him, he speaks in tongues of the Holy Spirit and is in constant communication with Him. He also told me about something happening to Las Vegas in the future, possibly its destruction. Please note the date this message is sent. This is for all of those who do not believe in the GOD of the Bible, for you are worshipping the wrong GOD.
