| Message | I stumbled upon this site accidently while looking up old pictures of the Boxcar Cafe in Southport. I used to work as a bartender there with Jerry. He was really fun to work with and I wish I kept in touch with him all these years. I remember as such a sweet guy and was willing do to anything for anyone without asking for a favor in return. I am so sad to hear of this news years after he passed away. He will be sadly missed. God Bless Ya Jerry! With that kind and generous soul of yours I know you're heaven with angels. Love you!!! |

| Message | I love your tribute to Jerry. I knew Jerry from 1990 on and I was lucky enough to become friends with him also. Unfortunately the last few years life got busy and we lost touch. I was totally shocked when I saw on David's website the link for his donation tribute. Jerry was a very special guy and he treated me like a sister. He and the guys were always very protective of me. I spent the years around them when he was music manager for David Jones. He and David and the guys in the band were always very sweet to me. I did go to see him once when he was playing for Micky. I was lucky enough to know him well enough to visit he and his girl friend when they lived in New York and we went to see him play with the local band he was in and saw him play hockey that he loved. You have a good insite into his personality. I will always miss him and truly believe that his spirit is still with us. |
