| Message | Got started on this when I bought a number of pieces of Takara Tomy Thomas train sets (tracks, Thomas, carriages etc) from someone at less than $90 in 2009. And have been adding to them since when Nicholas was older and became interested in them. He is now 4 years. And I used to assemble all the tracks for him in the living room, dismantle it when he goes to bed and repeat all over again. With the Tomy sets - the controls are all manual so spend alot of time figuring out how to put Percy, Emily and Thomas on - all running and avoid the head-ons! I thought one day I will have to see if I can model all those wonderful scenes you have on the website with the Tomy sets. |

I am trying to design and build a Sodor layout for my grand kids (all 18 of them) as close to what they see on the "original" Thomas the The Tank Engine" series.. IE: non cartoon style. My latest grandson loves the older series as do I. My shop will now become a layout for my grand babies. |
