MessageI work in a store that is predominately in Thomas and Friends product at the Strasburg Rail Road in Strasburg, PA. We are considered one of the premier locations for the Day out with Thomas Events. I feel to do justice to my product knowledge I need to know the background. In researching this I am amazed at how much detail was placed on keeping true to real life experiences.

How did you find us?I was reseaching my favorite engine, stepney
MessageI seriously love this site!, before I found this site, I did not know stepney was a A1 class. My favorite engines are stepney, sir handel, douglas, oliver, and peter sam. I don't know why, but I still love thomas at age 11. I just have 1 question, is stepney narrow gauge?

Thanks for this awsome site.
Thanks for your nice words, the answer to your question is no.. Stepney is a small engine indeed, but runs the standard gauge of 4' 8 1/2". We are in our 40s, so don't worry about being 11.
Cheers, Martin

MessageHi, What a fantastic site full of great information. I especially love the modelling pages as this is a hobby of mine. i notice that you have pictures of the Hornby models but not of the Bachmann models if you like I can take some of mine for you as I have: Thomas, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy and Toby (I even have Emily but I don't think you'll be interested in her as she isn't an Awdry character) just drop us an E-Mail and I'll see what I can do!

MessageWhat an absolute delight !!!- a wonderful site, learned to read with Thomas and nearly 50 years later, still derive the same pleasure from both text & pix ,saw the layout at Central Hall W/Minster back in the day but too nervous to speak to the man-fascinating lowdown on the history, had always assumed the S&DJR was the original basis before it gained it`s own momentum & history.
A grand job done here mate !!-well done, worth it`s weight in prime Sudrian silver, keep it up,many thanks, all the best,Nick

How did you find us?Sodor Island fansite
MessageThis is probably the best site in the world for Railway Series information. At any rate, it's infinitely better than the "offical" website. You ought to join the Thomas the Tank Engine wiki, you know so much. In fact, why not? The main page's at www.ttte.wikia.org. For all of us.
