MessageI've been a big fan of the TV series since my children were small (mid 80's) and though I know this site is mostly about the books, I find it extremely valuable. I am currently building my second Thomas HO scale railway and this site is a primary source for "getting it right". I show the layout at public shows.

Thank you for all you do here.

MessageKeep viewing this site. It is excellent stuff!

There have been many instances where fish have been found in tanks etc. One good example is Flying Scotsman. It was found to have several fish in her tender at one time.

I enjoy reading the many pages on this site and if i find anything that maybe of some interest i'd very much like to get in touch. Also if you'd like to know more about Scotsman fish problem do not hesitate to contact me.

Regards Ben Valentine
Thanks for your interest and nice words, Benjamin. Yes, if you have a source for Scotsman-fish story, we'd be glad to include it in the RSDB. Cheers, Martin

MessageHi
Update for you The Blue Circle/Fergus now lives at Shackerstone on the Battlefield Line Railway - photos available of him if you require. Loco currently having a major overhaul and very much in "bits".
The loco that Teddy Boston was driving on the youtube video at Shackerstone was know as "Herbert" and was owned by him. The loco has currently at the Lavender Line at Isfield, E Sussex and has been renamed "Teddy"

Great site

Best Regards

Chris
Thanks for this update, Chris. I've noticed that locomotives, by definition mobile objects, don't stick around in the same place forever! Cheers, Martin

MessageHello!!
I have to tell you that my 4-year-old nephew is crazy for Thomas and Friends. I bought a Thomas engine for him last week. He enjoyed a lot, but now he wants the other ones too ... (Oh, my God ...) Unfortunately it's difficult to buy things with Thomas trademark in Brazil because we don't find them in "common" shops, and in the web is quite expensive.
Besides my nephew, my sister, my brother-in-law and me also love Thomas and Friends.
Thank you for the opportunity to talk to you.
Thanks for your kind words, Sandra. I have a similar problem in Thailand except luckily the Tomy factory is sited here. Anyway, I'm sure the Rev Awdry would be proud to know of Thomas fans from the great nation of Brazil, which provided a story for "Duke the Lost Engine" (see Duke's page and the Real Stories Database). Cheers, Martin
