MessageA correction:
In a couple of places on your excellent site you say that the illustrator of the first book, /The Three Railway Engines/, was C Reginald Dalby. In fact it was a chap named William Middleton, whose style was simplistic and juvenile. Needless to say, the Rev was unhappy and Dalby, who replaced both Middleton and Reginald Payne for the 3rd book, was asked to provide new illustrations for a new edition of the book in 1949.
This information was obtained from several other websites which focus on the illustrators of the Railway Series.

MessageThere's some great information here! However, some pages need updates regarding Bachmann and Hornby models; Edward, Mavis, Salty, Bill, Ben, Donald and Douglas have all been made by Bachmann(Duck is due to be made this year), and Spencer and Murdoch have been by Hornby. However, this website says nothing about these models.

We try to catch up when and where we can, Bram. With the exception of Duck, you'll find that those pages have since been updated.

MessageI loved Thomas the Tank Engine when I was a little kid. I now watch the old and new TV series with my little nephew. I was amazed at the detail this site puts into the facts behind the books and characters.

Sorry, we think you might be actually thinking of Sodor Island Forums, Si3D or one of the other popular Thomas-related boards. TRLOTTTE does not have a forum of its own.
