| Message | Your site brought back many fond memories of Dakota City. My two brothers and I had to leave there Dec 1959. Unfortunately I have never made it back but a friend made me a tape of all the changes in town. I have been busy trying to find pictures of the town and the old schools to show my grandkids where I was raised the majority of my childhood. I have some good memories of Dakota City and my grandparents who lived there. |

| Message | I certainly enjoyed going down memory lane with your web site. I grew up in Dakota City from 1953 until 1966, when I joined the USAF. I have been back to Nebraska such a very few times, but have fond memories of many people in the community. Thanks for your website. Ross. |
