MessageHey Brethren,

I live outside Grand Rapids, MI and I long to fellowship as in the Book of Acts. Your testimony has greatly encouraged me (I ordered your book today) as I am called to disciplining His chosen ones in the urban world. I believe the house church movement is the future of the true church and I am seeking to learn more on how to develop one here. Thank you for you example, efforts, and faithfulness.

Be blessed and be a blessing,
Doug

After the storm that hit us I can say thank you to al the churches because the churches in our community do mor for our people than any other person.Although my family is still living with my grandparents in a two bedroom apartment with 7people.We were not as fourtnet to get ass. from fema for a trailer. But anyway thank you for all of what ya'll have done. Please keep up the good work because I can say that if that storm tought me anything its that you should always beleive that thiers light at the end of the tunal. That is something knowone can ever take away from me.I'm 10yrs. old and after the storm I took care of an elderly man after the storm that just died not to long ago.So as I said thank you and keep up the good work and please pray for my family to get a house. smilie

MessageI am thankful for your web-site. You say things which I have felt inside my heart. Approx 18 months ago, I was attending a big church (approx 7000 attending). I trusted its leader. But, he fell down and did some things to hurt a brother. He used his power to hurt, to squelch questioning of his motives. He struggles with pride and would not repent. So, I had to leave that place. I have been searching for another place to go. But in 18 months, there has been many closed doors. At first, I thought there must be something wrong with me. Why can I not find a church to belong to? I am troubled by many things in church as we know it. Why does it have to be so complicated? Why does it take so much money? I just want to do what Jesus wants. I am confused. I don't belong anywhere. I grew up in the Baptist Church. The church I left was non-denominational. I have gone to church all my life. When Sunday comes, I don't know where to go. I want to study the Bible. I want to talk with other Christians about what the passages mean to them. I want to bring the gospel to others. I want my life to count for something. I want to help the persecuted Christians and to help the poor.
I keep thinking I will go to a place and His Spirit will tell mine...this is the place! But this has not happened.
Well, I have talked enough. As you can see, I am mixed up. But, it helped me to read your website. Now, I don't feel that I am crazy.
Debbie

MessageI'm interested in finding out more about home churches. My initial reaction to your website is disappointment, because there is so much information on your "front page" dedicated to showing how WRONG most Christians and churches are rather than just listing the positives of home church. This is a real turn-off and immediately I have no desire to read anything else here. This is no better than others who try to prove home churches are wrong.

MessageI was so relieved to read your material for my heart cries out for this reality. Do you know of any home groups in the Mpls. Mn area? One of my concerns is the lack of church discipline for defiling sin. My life has been taumatized by this and I see many Christian women suffering as well. Do you have any teaching on this subject?

MessageShalom!.I totally agree w/you..
churches are starting to become more and more "Big Business"..someone needs to remind them of what Jesus did at the temple with the money changers! This day I'm caught up in the moment..Observing JHVH-GOD institution of "DAY OF ATONEMENT" HOLYDAY..praying for those who are perishing for the lack of knowledge (i.e.churches teach this does not apply to the church,,only Jewish traditions..but practice Pagan holidays..I could go on and on, but I want to stay focused..you know th enemy tries to sneak in when it can, to still the joy. Enjoyed your message..WATCH & PRAY! ANY BLACK PEOPLE IN BRYAN, TX..TAKE NO OFFENCE!

MessageI too am sick of the denominational junk that is shoved down the throats of the hungry new born Christians.
