| Message | My name's Victoria and my husband and I have decided that traditional churches have strayed far from the path. We are exploring home church, which I am excited about starting. Age segregation never made sense to me in the academic setting, which is why we choose to homeschool. When our autistic son did not do well in our church's nursery, I began thinking about homechurch. Who better to teach our special little guy than the two people who know him best? Also, my husband found the traditional sermon to be lengthy, boring, and uninformative. I hope our home church is a success!! |

| Message | I read some of your site and was pleased with the eloquence describing offices, pastors, deacons etc. That was my biggest hangup - the need for strong leadership. In the past I followed my inklings and sought out some teaching on house church. Firstly, the leadership issue scared me away. Secondly, the preponderance of scathing remarks about the traditional church mixed with anemic descriptions of what house church actually is pushed me away. But I'm back and I want to communicate and learn and share. Thanks. |
