Finally moving out into ministry as an independent minister of the gospel, and there are very, very few "fellow" ministers that acknowledge my leadership and spiritual authority. | Message | Hello, My name is Landon Metts and I lead a home based church in Roanoke, VA. We have been meeting since December 2007. I am very interested in your site's information. Coming from a Baptist background, it is a change I never thought I would undertake. However, when we felt the call we had to respond with action. There are six of us. Just thought I would drop a line and let you know that I had visited. The most important thing to acknowledge though is that we are Christians who believe that Jesus Christ is the Way, Truth, and Life. We believe that only through Him can we find salvation. We also believe that works are an extension of faith, specifically that faith and submission first, lead to good fruit. I figured it would be important to mention so that we may be well met.
