| Message | Hi Debbie: This will take you back a few years.... Lori and I came to Kurume in 1988 for six months to assist you and your parents with the church. We have often thought of our experiences there but only kept in touch with a few people for a a short time after we left and have not had contact with anyone from Kurume for more than 16 years. It was exciting for us to discover your web page and that for Kurume Bible Church and see some of the same people involved in the church as when we visited. It sounds like the Lord has blessed you and your parents work. It was neat to see a picture of Elizabeth(Bethie) as she was only about two-years-old I believe when we were there.(We have four children now, 12-17 years old) Through a series of events, God has recently rekindled our interest in Japan. We recently spent a week with 13 Japanese students who came to the states for a month through a Christian English Program (NOAH) in Sano(?)about an hour from Tokoyo. We have talked about starting a similar type program here in southern Oregon, and have even discussed visiting Japan again in the near future if God leads us? Can you give us any information about two other men who were involved in the church when we visited in 1988,Kotegawa San or Iwahashi San? We would love to hear from you if you get a chance.
