MessageMadam,
The contents of your web page was very heartening. As one who also tried to do his bit during his service days but without much success at that time, I can well understand the magnitude of the task and the sacrifices required. Please see my article under the caption, "Take the first step against corruption now" in Deccan Herald, Forum, Sunday, 12 Jul'98. I wish you and your husband all the best in your endeavour. May his tribe increase! Any help or contribution required from my side, I shall be happy to render.

MessageHi

It is time most of our government departments have a small Loka Yukta office beside them to curb corruption. Until corruption is not reduced, leave alone wiping it out. There is no chance that our country rub shoulders with other developed nations.

Thanks for putting up this website

MessageCorruption is an evil which must be defeated as it leads to vindictive action against those standing up against it. So this is not a battle to be fought alone. Good people need to unite in large numbers to side with stalwarts like Vijay Mumar who are putting their career and life on the line by standing upto the corrupt.

This fight cannot be alone.

We should collect signatures in large numbers and then challenge PM Manmohan Singh to prove his sincerety when he says corruption must be resisted. Lets get a petiononline entry going for this one.

MessageMy hearty congratulations for coming forward to take the fight against corruption. Despite whatever most people may claim that one cannot fight against corruption, I am convinced it is possible to fight and there is a need to fight. When one is transferred six times in six months, this clearly shows how the system has clearly broken down. Recently an infant Kumarswamy of Deve Gowda asked the striking employees to lock the vice chancellor in Mysore. There was no uproar from the intellectuals of Mysore excepting women agitating as though it is just a women's issue. If a Mayawati with no ethical principles can win the election on much despised caste card, you can play wonders with a platform of fighting corruption. Now on I will be looking to news from you to lend my support. Along with few dedicated and concerned freinds I have been fighting corruption in Mysore with some minor success.
I am surprsied that an outright officer like Jairaj did not come forward to support your husband. Have you tried to take the support of retired IAS officers like Chiranjeevi Singh?
