Our best wishes to her and all men who are fighting this war. Personally I believe Netas, politicians and bureaucrat nexus in corruption is the biggest stumbling block in eradicating corruption. A civil service probationer despite securing high rank in UPSC if joining Revenue/Income Tax or Central Excise service instead of IAS/IFS, is doing so with motive of easy money and corruption. Unfortunately DOPT and UPSC are allowing such things to happen which means they are aiding and abetting corruption.Please fight it back. |

| Message | We are always talking about corrupt politicians and bureaucrats. But who make them corrupt. Not u and I but the businessmen....  . They are the root cause of this problem who force others to either become corrupt or die like Manjunath. So they should be targetted first, if we want to get rid of corruption. |

| Message | Tahnks Mrs and Mr. VijayKumar for their courage and fight against corruption. I think, your website is a starting point to fight against corruption. Let me expose one of my personal experience. The incident happened in RTO office, Vasco, Goa. The entire system is corrupt and it is very difficult to get Learning License, Driving Lisence, NOC, Police Clearance Certificate for Vehicle. Starting from Peons, Drivers, Clerks, Sub-inspector, Inspector and Director are very much active for bribe directly or indirectly (through agents. The subinspector Sanjay Kalal used to close office well before 12.30 P.M. and takes bribes for all sorts of work in his chamber after that. All agents meet him after 12.30 P.M. and before that he dried to show fault in each applications so that only can agent clear these things. SHAME on the system. I think, the situation is very much same in all RTO offices in India. These offices are another biggest place for corruption. | Message | Dear madam, I aspire to become a civil services officer  . Your husband is a inspiring beacon of light for people like me who are really interested in doing good for our country. The bit about Karnataka being the most corrupt state in India was very shocking. All this coming at a time when we are riding high on our success in the IT sector. The fact that only a handful of civil servants in karnataka have declared their assets is an indicator of the extent of corruption in our beloved state. But then, our chief minister is a spineless hen-pecked rubber stamp, whose hold on the CM's chair depends on his complying with and overlooking the unethical actions of his colleagues. What is more disturbing is the indifference of the Central govt. and the Lok Yukta in this regard. I am quite impressed by your courage.I am horrified at the idea of such intense stage of corruption in India which has the largest democracy in the world.I am quite encouraged by your actions.Corruption is like a colonial rule.We had to risk our lives to get our independece from the British and now we have to sacrifice again for making India a corruption-free nation.After reading your article and knowing about the intensity of this disease I have taken a pledge to never indulge in corrupt practices.I am sure that many persons would get inspired after reading your husband's story.I know that only the revolution of the citizens of a country can stop such unwanted practices.I pray to The Almighty that you succeed in your mission.I give a call to all "come forward and support this cause". |

| Message | I dont know when Mr. pereira visited Karnataka. There is total lawlessness here.The Chief Minister parties here and visits all anti-social elements but he and his cronies dont find time to visit the martyr Col Vasanth. There is so much awareness created in Karnataka about how officers at the highest level criminally conspireto make money. In karnataka , we dont not only have criminalisation of politics but there is even worse thing- criminalisation of bureaucracy Thanks to Mr and Mrs Vijayakumar for atleast starting to make corruption (which is very rampant)an issue. I request enlightned people like Mr Pereira instead of talking history of corruption advice as to how countries which were very corrupt have improved things. Hats off to Jayashree and Vijayakumar. | Message | I am really impressed with your efforts. I wish you good luck in your endeavour and pray for the safety and security of your husband. If only we had a few more noble souls, our country would be a much better place. As individuals we can only do so much -- the anti corruption movement should reach a critical mass. There needs to be a coordinated country wide effort to weed out this evil. We need to think about how to bring like minded people together and plan a strategy. |
