| Message | Saw a Hard Days Night, a Beatles tribute band, at the Reston Town Center, VA last night. My family and I had a great time. The band was great; they were quite on target with replicating the exact sound and nuances of the vocals, instruments, and physical gestures. I was impressed. It was also great to see so many 50 ...and 60-somethings up dancing and singing along to the songs. Hard Days Night is a great band with a 360 degree presentation of the Beatles. Forgot to mention. A fabulous aspect of their show is they perform songs that you rarely heard the Beatles perform live, or never saw them perform live. For example, they performed In My Life, with Michael's beautiful vocal, and John's amazing reproduction of George Martin's harpsichord on his guitar. I've never fou...nd a live version of The Beatles performing Birthday, so seeing a Hard Days Night perform that was special. They also performed Any Time at All, and You Can't do That, which are not prominent on Beatles live recordings. So they really extended the show to cover some extra special material. Great job guys. |

| Message | Saw this great band tonight at the RTC. I danced and sang for 3 hours in the front near the band. I didn't want it to end  . Thank you to my friend Barb who told me about this concert!!I will be a big follower. Thank you for making my night after 3 weeks of staying home while recovering from nerve surgery. Thank you for bringing back my love of dancing to some of the most fabulous songs ever written. You guys aren't too bad on the eyes either!! Love those Italian noses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | Message | Attended your concert tonight at Reston Town Center that ended the annual summer concent series held there. There were probably 3,000 to 4,000 people attending, and I've never seen any other concert there so jammed. Loved your music, which brought back a lot of nice memories of events like my high school proms. I hope Reston Town Center brings you back in 2011 to once again close out the summer series. Best anecdote of the evening: an 11 or 12 year old girl throws a coin in the fountain, and when asked what she was wishing for, the answer was "I'm hoping they play one of my favorite songs!" Proof, as if any were needed, that the music of the Beatles is indeed timeless. |
