MessageYet again some poor reffing, with him admiting he should not have give the pen,up to that stage 1-0 up and in control, the decision changed the game and we go in 2-1 down at half time, however again the lads dug in and were close to grabbing an equaliser on a couple of occasions but it was not to be,and they grabbed a very late 3rd when we were pushing forward, not alot to choose between the sides on the night and had not the ref made a cock up it could have been a whole lot differant, chance for revenge as leigh say,s and hopefully a better ref on the day. smilie

MessageThe penalty changed the complexion of the game and sadly it was a penalty that shouldn't have been given. Not just my opinion but also that of some of the Leatherhead players plus the ref who admitted at half-time that he'd made a mistake!

Thankfully we only have four weeks to wait before we can exact revenge.

MessageThanks for that Paul. I have been to a lot of the U18s at home and have been very impressed. I wont be there to night as being a season ticket holder for Fulham I will be there watching them play Juventus but as it is an early kick off I may make the second half.

MessageWatched the game last night, I am a Police officer but normally watch Stevenage Town. went to see a mate play against you. Thought the police should have won by more, they should have had one penalty, you should have had one penalty, but for poor finishing by the police it could have been more. having said that if the Met G/K didn't make a banksy type save it could have all been different. Good Luck. Steve

MessageMet Police 2 v 1 Merstham, having gone down 2-0 early in the game,I thought the lads dug in and almost got something out of the game,so although a defeat not all bad,and positives for next season,Troy scored a stunner to bring Merstham back into the game and his overall performance was deserving as he had a super game I thought.Should have had two pens also but what do you expect against The Police. smilie
