| Message | It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that our President, Bill Lawton, passed away yesterday aged 89. Bill had been involved with MFC for over forty years and had been coming to the groud until a couple of years ago when ill health prevented this. | Message | Hello everyone, Well done on winning the cup, good start for the season. K youve scored in nearly every game whats going on? Whats happened to Locky? Really starting to miss the footy now as im in vietnam now and everyone here plays footy on the beach and plays head tennis, which is giving me the taste for playing but im unable to, so count yourselves lucky! Im having to play volleyball on the beach, sipping fruit cocktails, tennis every other day and playing a form of head tennis all the asians play out here. I will buy a ball and maybe we could play a game at training, your touch has to be spot on so its best k just umpires!!!  Keep it going boys, i am hoping to get back on the 17th August, but just been told that i may not be able to get on that flight so i have had booked to go to Bali for 5 days while i wait to see if i can get on that flight if not i will be back on the 20th. | Message |  You did play some nice football at times and pass the ball around very well,but I think last night was a case of them being pretty poor to be honest it was like men against boys and it was quite evident that they were a league below you.You will be one of the favs to win your division this year and quite rightly so,where as I think South Park have got a lot of work to do on the field. |

| Message | Hi ya Lads, Im in Loas at the moment, been having a tough time in Thailand living it up on the islands. Buckets of drink (blackcurrant and lemonade) on the beach dancing waiting to watch the sunrise, im really missing preseason! Ive been floating down a river for 4k today stopping off at different bars in the water drinking and playing headtennis me and my mate havent been beaten yet! Glad to hear your working hard and that you won first friendly, shock to see scorers, especailly k!!! Ive just looked at the training photos and thought i see one of my ex students boothy, is that right? Anyway i had better go as its a wet t-shirt comp next door and its two buckets for one. Keep working hard boys this is our season this year!!!!! Laters Simmo ps: Make sure we win the cup final and let me know the result asap! pps: is micky still angry, k still trying to hit a barn door, locky still running, dave mit mit smith practising running with the ball, is twindle dee and dumb still playing cricket, is the old cat and his seven dwarfs still warming him up and is captain mohammed-imhard-brucelee still flexing his guns (try working on his touch). | Message | See you have made great leaps and bounds since the old Spartan days, well done. I remember coming to Merstham when we were riding high and you beat us 4-2 to put paid to our title hopes. My cousin Paul was sent off as well....Managed to get a Merstham V Waltham Abbey prog on e-bay a while back too, my most expensive purchase at £7! Good luck for the future....... |
