Messagesmilie I really enjoyed the performance at Dance Place on Saturday the 7th. My four year was so inspired that now she wants to dance, and wants her own drum. I hope to see you all perform again sometime in the near future! smilie

MessageFarafina Kan tsunamied the house! Other groups rock the house. Farafina Kan tsunamied the house with wave upon wave of rhythms and beats that washed over the crowd leaving them cleansed and refreshed and ready. From Farafina's entrance to its exit, the audience screamed, clapped, swayed, bounced and jump to the drums and singing. There was no escape from the relentless energy and excellence of the group. And what can we say about the sisters and the drums!!!! No words...no words. It was an awesome, spiritual, inspiring set. Many thanks to Bro. Kamaal Amen Ra and Ngoma Za Amen Ra for introducing Detroit to Farafina Kan. All praises to the ancestors for leading and guiding this group.
