| Message | I spent a total of four nights this June in Brigus staying with Betty at "The Brittoner". I completely enjoyed your town (except for the weather the last 2 days), especially how easy it is to walk everywhere. Very informative visit to Hawthorne Cottage. To top it off, there is no better hostess than Betty - she knows the local history and is very willing to share her knowledge. |

| Message | Brigus looks like a spectacular place. Hope to visit it soon. Have interest in the Spracklin family connection to Brigus and Cupids because my mother's great-grandfather was skipper of the Waterwitch which tragically sank in Pouch Cove nr. Cape St. Francis in Nov. 1875. |

I have been researching my father's family, who left Brigus around 1900, and studying the Brigus website. His parents were E. John and Elizabeth Hussey Stentaford. | Message | Have not been to the rock in some time look forward to visiting Brigus again when I do. Born and raised in Ontario, both parents are from Newfoundland, dad was born in brigus, I am a newfie at heart. Will definitely plan my next visit to coincide with the Blueberry festival. Can't wait to show my kids the beauty of the rock. |
