| Message | Brigus looks like a spectacular place. Hope to visit it soon. Have interest in the Spracklin family connection to Brigus and Cupids because my mother's great-grandfather was skipper of the Waterwitch which tragically sank in Pouch Cove nr. Cape St. Francis in Nov. 1875. |

I have been researching my father's family, who left Brigus around 1900, and studying the Brigus website. His parents were E. John and Elizabeth Hussey Stentaford. | Message | Have not been to the rock in some time look forward to visiting Brigus again when I do. Born and raised in Ontario, both parents are from Newfoundland, dad was born in brigus, I am a newfie at heart. Will definitely plan my next visit to coincide with the Blueberry festival. Can't wait to show my kids the beauty of the rock. |

| Message | Spent my childhood in Brigus and probably like many of the kids picked and sorted Caplin at the local fishplant, Proud to say thats where I'm from and God Bless the many wonderful people that still reside there, A lot has changed but Brigus is still and always will be home to me. Looking forward to the Blueberry Festival this year and hope to see the family and familiar freindly faces that are always there.   |

| Message |  I miss sitting on that rock down by the sails and just watching the water. I was never so peaceful as I was when I was in that lil paradise of yours. I truly miss it and I think of Nan every single day. Never forgotten, greatly missed, Esther Spracklin will always be Brigus!  |
