MessageI spent a total of four nights this June in Brigus staying with Betty at "The Brittoner". I completely enjoyed your town (except for the weather the last 2 days), especially how easy it is to walk everywhere. Very informative visit to Hawthorne Cottage. To top it off, there is no better hostess than Betty - she knows the local history and is very willing to share her knowledge.

MessageHi Wayne
looks like next year is going to be something special for Brigus and the whole Island. The Bartlett Days will bring many home I am sure. Do you know yet what the dates will be for this great event? Tks and hope to see many home for this time.

MessageBrigus looks like a spectacular place. Hope to visit it soon. Have interest in the Spracklin family connection to Brigus and Cupids because my mother's great-grandfather was skipper of the Waterwitch which tragically sank in Pouch Cove nr. Cape St. Francis in Nov. 1875.

MessageHi. I would like to get on your mailing list and/or receive any information on how to contact the families of Stentaford, Hussey, Roberts or Norman. I have been researching my father's family, who left Brigus around 1900, and studying the Brigus website. His parents were E. John and Elizabeth Hussey Stentaford. I believe there was a Stentaford reunion a few years ago and am wondering if there will be another soon but don't know anyone to contact. My email address is above. Thanks so much

MessageHave not been to the rock in some time look forward to visiting Brigus again when I do. Born and raised in Ontario, both parents are from Newfoundland, dad was born in brigus, I am a newfie at heart. Will definitely plan my next visit to coincide with the Blueberry festival. Can't wait to show my kids the beauty of the rock.
