| Message | Very interesting. Makes me want to do the same thing for this neck of the woods... while I'm living in suburban Buffalo now, I've spent most of my life wandering rural Niagara county and adjecent bits of WNY and we have nearly the same number of abandoned farms, etc.. in the region. |

| Message |   I loved your site. So sad to see so many old places falling down. I grew up in the area and have most of my relatives there. Both sides of my family go way back in Jefferson Co. Was just there in May. I do a lot of Genealogy so found it through your other site. Great job your sites are so well done and a lot of work. |

I used to live in Rochester and when I was little on the weekends we used to rent a cottage in Edwardsville on Black Lake, while there we would go to Rossie by boat at least once a trip to get ice cream at the little store that was there. Too bad the old hotel there burnt down it was beautiful! Thank you again for this website!  |

| Message | Born and raised in Watertown and raised with my grandparents on the robbins farm on Massey St Rd really enjoy the old pictures as all of my mother's family were farmers in Cape Vincent and the Sackets Harbor area. I have many fond memories of the Jefferson County. |
