| Message |  My GSD pups,1male,1 female, are now firmly entrenched as part of the family-I do,however, have a question about my male's undescended testicles.He had 1 down when we got him at 8 weeks-it has since disappeared. Have researched it-but would appreciate any other info on cryptorchids from anyone with more knowledge. The dogs are now 14 weeks old,came from good (supposedly!) pedigree.While I wasn't planning to breed anyway, I'd like to know if the dire warnings of testicular cancer are truly valid,and if so,when is the best time to have my pup castrated.Hate to do it,but I'd hate him to suffer with cancer more!I notified the breeder-what she does with the info is ??? As a GSD owner for 34 years, I hate to see a genetic trait continued..where does my responsibility end? Guess that's more than 1 question,yes? Any help would be greatly appreciated. | Message | O.K I know I havent been around much, I get a reminded from Rookie at least once a week. But I do want to say that this board and all it's members a great. I've had so many good laughs that I cant begin to count. |

| Message | Love this board! It has a great mix of members with working lines and show lines. There are members who train and compete in various venues. A very nice mix. Everyone is helpful and friendly. A great team of Mods to keep things running smoothly. I really enjoy the fun bantering that goes between the members and the way members encourage each other in anything they are doing with their dogs. Awesome board!! |

| Message | Hey, I guess you all beat me to it...this board offers up a lot of knowledge, compassion and a little bit of fun  . The members of this group are amazing and I find that I enjoy my time here immensely. From breeders, showers and first time puppy owners there is something her for everyone. I encourage everybody to browse through and see why this board is becoming so popular in the German Shepherd world.  Enjoy you visits here. The admins and other mods of this group are super friendly and willing to go that extra mile to make you feel at home and welcome. And even offer up some silly antics once and a while.  |
