| Message | HI fellow Newfie's, I grew up in North River and very familiar with Bay Roberts. People may know me as the black little girl who was a foster child. I love my childhood there andwent back to visit in 2005. It was great to see everyone and all my foster family and friends. It is just as I remember when I left in 1991,Peaceful and everyone so friendly. Although I was home bfore that a few times but on sad occassions. This time it was for fun. I bought my boyfriend there for the first time and he loves it. Everyone made him feel so welcome. He is orginally from British Guyana South America so this was quite different for him. Although we parted ways now it was a great experience for him. I live now in Nashua, Nh and enjoy it but nothing is like going home where the heart is. My ex got screeched in and that was definitely a experience but he enjoyed the whole visit. I would like to thank all Newfies for opening there heart and homes for visitors. Take care everyone. | Message | Hey Bay Roberts! I gotta say I had an awesome time at the Klondyke '07 again this year! I love going home to NL from Fort Mc to go to the Klondyke, keep bringin the classic rock, I love it,Trooper and Streetheart, Honeymoon Suite are my favorite bands. Blue Eyed Blonde also rocked too! I had an amazing time when they were up, anyway Im gonna be droppin out to Bay Roberts when I come home in Sept, once again thanks for the awesome time every summer, keep it up, maybe next year bring Nazareth and Helix! | Message | Hello, I just recognized that the James Norman Hall is still there for St. John the evangelist church, his hall has be torn down now for a few years. They have a beautiful new hall, and Rev. Janes is the minister now, not Rev. Noel. |
