Hey, I got to read the exerpt from Undercover Trouble and really wanted to buy a download. I've tried several times this morning to get the site to sell me a copy and it keeps crashing, wouldn't even let me transfer to PayPal to pay for it! Too, bad, it really sounded like a book I would have liked. Do you have your books anywhere else for purchase besides your link? Hopefully, I'll be able to get them somewhere else.

Hi Susan; I'm glad you enjoyed those stories. I like them all but my closest friends, both the husband and wife, seem to like A Structured Affair best and say it's my best writing. Personally, I liked Be Still, My Heart! the most because it has the most of me in the story. Natural Persuasion has a lot of Jan in it, and None So Blind was my first. It and Means To An End take place on the Eastern Shore Region of NS, a spot that I really love because of its splendor and ruggedness. Retreat To Danger has a young boy in it and I liked the mothering aspect of the heroine.
I had a great time researching the canal and visiting a number of locks. I didnt realize until Kristie told me last night that the canal lock they took me to was the one where those poor women were murdered.

Hello Carol!
As you know I have enjoyed your books and read some parts to Andy. I just spoke with him and he said to google your name so I did. I want to order some books but would love to know which ones you might recommend right now! I have read 3 books thus far (Something about that lady,Jewel Seduction and Alaskan Magic) and am looking forward to reading more in the near future!
Hope the research on the canal gave you all you needed.

Thanks for signing my guestbook, Susan. I love Alaska, too, and have been there three times. That's why I felt confident writing a story about it. I especially enjoy writing older characters and against the backdrop of such a beautiful, mystical place my mind went full steam ahead.
I have run contests when hosting an author day but hardly do that anymore for lack of time. Being retired myself, I'm busier than I've ever been. Carol

I just found your site and the books look so good..I hope to find some of them. I love Alaska and that book really caught my eye. I recently retired and so have more time to read..sad to say I am on a tighter budget but I plan to set so much each month aside for books. Do you ever run contests? I have been entering them in hopes to get some good books to read also. Have a good day. susan L.

Glad I found you, I have missed you. I still worry about Miles. I still write but am writing poetry- visit my blog and profile on My Space. Do you still belong to the group? I couldn't find it ...send web address and I will give my 2 cents...lol. I am 78 now and health failing but still working part-time and painting portraits and murals.

I read Alaskan Magic on a plane to and from California this month and it was awesome. This book held my attention all the way through. As I do not have much time to read for pleasure, I certainly am glad I chose your book Carol. I am looking forward to your next book that I hear is going to be about our famous "Bluenose" and your wonderful brother. Go Girl!

Hi Carol Meet your brother Mike at a function a few weeks ago and he proudly presented me with Alaskan Magic...........not what I would normally read as I am more focused on non-fiction. But this was a delightful change with a lovely ending. Planning a trip to Alaska over the next few years so can't wait to see what I have been reading about. Good Luck with future books.............
