| Message | Hi all, Just a quick note to say all is going ok with us. Can't update website at the moment due to more computer problems. Tyler is good although we still have lots of tummy pains here & there. Worries us a lot but we'll just keep a close eye on him. 6 weeks till bub is due. Can't wait!! Had ultrasound the other day with a not so friendly, not so helpful lady so I'm still waiting to confirm whether it's safe for me to have natural delivery or not. Should find out this week. We're still so deeply saddened at the loss of our little friend Dylan. We found it extremely difficult the week he passed away & I can only begin to imagine how incredibly hard it's been for Sharron, Leigh & their family. Our hearts & love are with them always. Hopefully have a proper update soon. Mel      |

I hope everything has been sorted out with the website, it is such a good forum for everyone. All is well in W.A., although it feels a little weird to be so far away from you all. I would really like to be there just after the baby is born, like I was with Tyler, but it isn't meant to be. Will just have to wait until our next trip to Canberra. | Message | Dear Tyler, I read a message your Mum left on a dear friend of mines website - Dylan McKeown. I hope you don't mind but I ventured on in to your website and I was simply amazed at how beautiful you were. Just like Dylan, you have a very cheeky persona about you. Another thing I found in common from both of you, is that you have the most wonderful families. Your Mum & Dad have raised you, just like Dylan, with so much love, that pain is not a barrier. Your family, like the Mckeowns, have shown us more to life - that life itself could show us. I have learnt to love life more and most importantly not to take anything for granted. | Message | Hi all, Website's playing up so I thought I'd do a update here. Firstly, Tyler is keepng well & appears to be happy & healthy which is great. He's growing up fast & keeping us busy! We saw his oncologist the other day & he is very happy with how he's been going & how he looks. Last week he started round 12 - Retinoic Acid which is his final round of treatment. We've got mixed emotions about this as it's great there's no more tablets but quite scary to be off treatment all together. Next scans are early June which we're extremely nervous about. There's been a lot of bad things this year - losing Terry's sister & neice in Jan, Dylan battling on with lots of setbacks, & now our little NB Canberra friend Olivia has relapsed. We are shattered for her family & can only HOPE she stays well & continues to fight hard. It's all so sad & unfair. Terry got a horticulture traineeship a few weeks back & is adjusting well back to the 'working life'. So far he's a bit disappointed as there's been no actual horticulture training but hours are good so we'll just have to wait & see if it improves. I'm rapidly expanding & all is looking good with the pregnancy. Bub is very active (especially when I feast on chocolate!). I've been feeling much better & am enjoying this part. Now we're just looking forward to meeting bub in August. That's about all. We get pretty stressed about Tyler at times but are doing our best to stay positive. Please pray for all our fighters. Mel |
