MessageI am a first time attendee of the Moxie Fest. smilie What an awesome festival. smilie My sister, niece and I met my son in Lewiston and spent Friday evening and most of the day Saturday enjoying the festivatives, before returning to The County. smilieMy only recommendation to anyone who may be thinking of attending the festival. DO NOT stay at The Chalet. I don't know how these people stay in business. My family and I checked in and the first room they gave us was disgusting, smilie we did end up with another room that was a little better but not what I would expect from a motel for the public, I don't know how they pass health codes. smilie Everyone should attend the Moxie Fest at least once in their life. smilie

MessageFrom the folks in Rusty Romance, thanks for having us. We had a ball playing for you. Wish more people had shown up but those of you who were there were really great and we appreciate it. Thanks to the line dancers, the orange boa lady, the high school kids at the end and Toby & Crew. You all brought the fun!

MessageThis was my first exposure to the Moxie 5K and I loved it. I'm not from the area (from Virginia) and did not even know of the Moxie Festival. I highly enjoyed and plan on coming back every year!
My thanks go out to the planners of the event!

See you next year...

MessageThis year was the first year I went to the Moxie Festival and it was wicked awesome. The 20th Maine re-enactors and everything. They really do mean the parade is the biggest in Maine. It lasted a whole hour. Plenty of Moxie, which when it comes to Moxie I could be admitted into M.A (Moxiehaulics Anonymous). Music was good. I didn't expect that many people to show up. Wicked cool.

MessageI was a first-timer at the Moxie Fest this year & have only wonderful things to say...2 friends & I went & had a fantastic time. The Parade & Fireworks were especially good, & Rusty Romance was really great. Came home(The County) with lots of Moxie souvenirs!!
My only reccomendation is that no-one ever stay at "The Chalet" in Lewiston. We made reservations a few weeks ago. when we arrived, the 1st room they gave us was so disgusting that we absolutely refused to stay in it. They showed us another which was an improvement, but I will definitely never go there again.
Thanks for a great get-a-way weekend!!!
