MessageLooking forward to our first Moxie Festival ever! My sister and I grew up in Maine but now live in Georgia and Mississippi. We've drank the stuff since we were tiny. Got the taste from our grandfather. Now as adults we are passing the good taste on to our children. I have two children, one who loves it (3 years old) and one who hates it (5 years old). I guess you really do either love it or hate it. See everyone soon!!

MessageI'm originally from Maine and the only soda drink that my Dad bought was MOXIE! I developed a taste for it and it is my favorite soft drink. I now live in Florida and your drink is not available BUT ~ all my Yankee friends know I love it and when they come down to visit they always stock me up with it. I also thru the years when visiting New England would bring it back to WA State,North Carolina and Florida ~ You either love or hate MOXIE ~ I love it and wish it were available down here! I'm real glad that it is available now in Diet as some years back I became diabetic! I've never been to one of your festivals but have received literature from a cousin and a friend who attend when possible! Keep on Keeping on making that 'MOXIE' By the way I have one of the origial glass bottles of Moxie which now must be at least 50 years old ~ wonder if it has lost it's zip? smilie I'll never know as it is a favorite keepsake!

MessageMy wife and I attended the 2002 Moxie Fest. and we have not missed one since! Great fun for the whole family. It all reminds me of a time when things in this country were not so hectic. You have to visit the "House of Moxie" on Main Street in the center of Lisbon Falls. Moxie T-shirts,
hats, soda, ice cream and other Moxie items you won't find anywhere else! I'll be there dressed as the "1911" Moxie Boy. Come, say hello and bring your camera.

MessageI'll be releasing a limited-run printing of Moxietown, my newest book. If you ever wanted to know a bit more about Moxie, plus get the story behind how Lisbon Falls became the epicenter of the Moxie universe, then Moxietown's the book for you.

The book, the first significant addition to the Moxie canon in over 20 years, commemorates the 25th anniversary of the festival in Lisbon Falls and adds a new twist to the Moxie tale.

If you'd like more info about how you can place an advance order for the book (which will be released July 12, at Moxie) email me, or write to me at the following address:

MessageSherman, is that THE Sherman Pike from my third grade Sandhill School days in Lisbon Falls. If so, I am still sorry about jumping on your back on the way home from school one afternoon and causing your torn pants and skinned knees. Boy did I catch hell from my father on that one.
