MessageHi Rose
Just had another look at your blog site, and as always it just gets better and better. Thanks for all the photo's of the storm damage in Durban.
Does remind me of the weather on that fateful day in 1991.
On a lighter note, I am going for a job interview with an airline in Dublin on 29th March, and if I get the job I will be relocating to Eire, so you may have Jack Daniels on your doorstep!!!!
Enjoy you holiday in South Africa, and we will chat when you get back.

MessageI just finished watching the documentary on the wreckage of Oceanus, and I cannot believe the neglect of the Captain and crew.. My heart goes out to the passengers and the rescuers (who did an excellent job) of the Oceanus wreckage.

MessageHi,

Interesting site, I survived the Jupiter sinking in 88 and nearly 20 years later it still has a profound effect on my attitude to life. I found this site whilst searching for Jupiter information of which there is very little.

Good job.

MessageHi the Rowes
Fabulous blog, guys. I try and visit at least every so often. Rose, I don't know where you get the time!!!!
And isn't Em getting more and more lovely each day. Not allowed to answer - parents' opinions don't count!
And to those that I know, HELLLOOOOO! Greeting and salutions from Australia. If you're still living in SA, have a glass of their fabulous wine and a fillet steak for me! And hug the maid!

MessageAll I can say is WOW..... what a stunning blog. Reading the articles and seeing the pictures stirs up the memories and emotions. I guess after nearly 16 years a lot of what happened on the 3rd and 4th August 1991 is lost in the memory banks tho' never forgotten.

Keep up the good work Rosie and thanks for being the best friend ever.

MessageWonderful!!!!! It's like reading about my own life, but slightly different. We need more work like this and I hope you will continue racking your brain for more of the past. Whether we like it or not, who we were yesterday influenced who we are today.

MessageHi Rose, Nice to hear from you. School days seem a life time ago. How are you enjoying the change in scenery from SA? Weather not getting you down?
Take care!
Kind regards
