| Message | Hi Susan, I just read your July diary, thank you for sharing your months experiences. The pictures loaded quite readily.
It is so interesting to see how you farm, basicly you use the same methods and equipment as here in the states. I like the bale cover idea, are they air tight so that you can put up the hay with considerable moisture? As much as we long for rain an abundance of it looks good.
Your horses look good, your grass must carry a lot of food value even though you get so much rain. Our high country meadows that we irrigate get real lush in the spring and can founder a horse, I like your muzzle idea. I see a lot of consistency in the backs of your horses, it is going to take a saddle tree that has plenty of spread with a full 93 degrees of angle to be successful in fitting them. You have to do a lot of riding to keep them ridden.
Is your blue tractor built in your country or is it a Ford that is built in the states. A lot of the haying equipment and tractors are built at Heston, Kansas which is about 40 miles from where I grew up.
Upon closing this I will search out some of the addresses you sent. Thanks for all your help, your interesting diary and the sharing of your life.
