MessageMy first time in Mallorca and certainly not the last. Joining Richards' walking tours ( I did 3 in the week I was there)really made my holiday. I saw places I never could have alone and the company was alway good. I particularly like the aspect of the walks where there always seems to be a bar in the most unexpected place.
I'll be back! : smilie

Which tour/walk did you do?Masanella & Archduke's/Teix
Did you enjoy it? Please commentWonderful - as usual
MessageHaving just returned from another great holiday in Mallorca, I looked at my diary to see how many years had passed since my first visit, and was amazed to discover it was back in 1998. I've returned most years since then. The walking is superb, Richard is a fine leader with great knowledge of the island.
If you enjoy scenic walking and haven't been before, give it a go - you wont be disappointed!

MessageRichard never disappoints - After trekking with him over the last 12 years, I am always amazed how he still surprises us all with new and wonderful places on an island that we thought we knew fairly well.

Thanks for Randa and Mondrago, the after-dinner torchlight treks, the unadulterated fun at Tossals, for all that delicious local cuisine with plenty of vino - where do I stop?

We have enjoyed great company watching beautiful sunsets, swimming in hidden bays and, of course, who could forget the "ballet" at Cuber Dam?...

Again, thanks Rich for one brilliant trip and see you next time!

You never cease to amaze us, we always enjoy our walks and Treks with you, but this one was just exceptional.
The Accomodation at the Hostal was very comfortable, peaceful and welcoming by Sylvia & Daniel at the 'Hostal Dragonera' and the Location was spot on too, we had beautiful sea views and it was great to swim in (easy to enter from the sun terrace). The typically Mallorcan Cuisine was most enjoyable, with plenty of wine thrown in.
We loved every minute of it in San Telmo and can't wait to go back next year.
The walks were spectacular and varied in their terrain, some challenging but all doable!
The Landscape was full of surprises...Wild Orchids, Birds of prey, and many more...well done
Rich, keep up the good work. smilie smilie

MessageSan Telmo was the best of all the (many) walks we have done with you over the past 13 years....and we have enjoyed them all.
Didn't think Porto Pollensa could be bettered as a base but San Telmo is idyllic. Varied walking with superb views, flowers and birds a great extra. Also the views from our balcony and from the restaurant were stunning and as always we felt safe under your guidance. smilie smilie smilie

MessageThanks Rich for a brilliant fortnight's walking. Great to see some familiar faces and to meet new enthusiasts. The beautiful views just kept on coming and the right amount of drink stops on the uphill stretches made for comfortable walking for those of us not as fit as we could be!!
Food for the soul if ever there was.

MessageOur first walking holiday. My first visit to Mallorca. We couldn't have arranged a better group if we'd tried! Superb to be under the very capable wing of Rich Strutt - able to taste, see and feel Mallorca. Our guide enabled us to try an impressive variety of Mallorcan dishes and drinks. And we sampled a cross section of places to stay - refuge, guest house, monastery...And what a treat to experience Ernesto's awesome hospitality at his Lluc Restaurant. He delighted us with wild mushrooms he'd gathered that day. Best day: Port Soller to L'ofre mtn to marvel at black vultures gliding below, then that final push up to Tossals refuge and an ice cold beer on the terrace before supper and card games in front of a massive log fire. Unforgettable.

MessageWe have just returned from a week of heaven - great walks, spectacular views and good company. What more could you want. Rich has got it just right. His easy going attitude means you get loads of walking done without any real effort. We also got to really experience the local culture, some great accommodation (like the Monastry) and food and wine was second to none. Rich knows all the right people and the locals think the world of him so they made a real effort for us. We would highly recommend this as a brilliant holiday option and also excellent value. We will definitely be trying some of the other holidays. Thanks Rich.
