MessageNext summer will be our 5th summer at Mountaindale. If your going to be vacationing near Colorado Springs come stay at Mountaindale Campground/Resort.You'll love it there. Best campground, resort around and the staff there are awesome. They will be like family before you leave. They certainly have been to Ed and I. When we had RV problems, they worked things around so we could stay in one of their cabins while we waited. And they also worked with us last summmer when our RV caught fire and burned. Thanks for the concern you had for us and the love we felt from all of you. Yes, we love it at Mountaindale. smilie

MessageMy husband and I are currently staying at this campground for the holiday weekend. This campground is one of nicest that we have ever stayed at, including other states that we have camped at. Its quit, clean, and secluded and the people here are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family members. Thumbs up for smilie this place smilie.

MessageJust returned from our first stay at Mountaindale and couldn't have had a better time! The photos on the website do not do it justice - the grounds are beautiful! Employees seem to take pride in their work keeping everything in top shape while making guests feel well taken care of. We also wanted to let the owner know how much our family appreciated the ice cream feasts (both of them) and the free donuts and coffee! What a treat! My kids think Mountaindale is the "BEST PLACE EVER!" With nice people, wonderful atmosphere, and super clean facilities, Mom and Dad are inclined to agree. Thanks again for a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

MessageWe stayed several days at the end of October 2010 with David, Mary Nell & the rest of the staff at Mountaindale. While Mother Nature blew and blew, the visit was wonderful. A great campground, great people, and the price is right, too! Dog lovers, this place is very dog-friendly, and has a great dog park for your 4-legged friends. We're planning on another visit, soon! Try Mountaindale, you won't be disappointed!!

MessageI had the opportunity to meet some of my family that I didn't know I had until this trip... at least this is how I felt when I met David and his family who run this campground. I'll get through the easy part... campground is absolutely immaculate and beautiful, the access to family/game room 24hrs daily is very cool, having a hot tub available at your whim, hiking trails that lead up the mountain to spectacular views, exceptional service that is as prompt as a 5 star hotel, easy access layout to each site... I could go on and on about the "usual stuff" but I would rather comment about the hard to achieve things that makes Mountaindale the place we will call home any time we return to a 100 mile radius of this spot... the atmosphere. David has set a bar of customer service that rivals that of the Disney corporation that is always provided with a smile from everyone I dealt with from the first call I made to schedule our trip, arriving to the grounds and then upon leaving... my new home away from home of which I can't wait to return. Example; one of the evenings I had ended up back at the grounds after the front office closed realizing the fire ban had been lifted...while inquiring of this with one of our neighbors, David's daughter, who was also at their site, promptly got up from her leisure time to open shop and allow me to have 3 bundles of wood to get me through the evening, had my campfire and the solitude I was seeking. My fellow campers, Mountaindale is wonderful! Mark

MessageOur stay at Mountaindale cabins was wonderful. We both work full time and the quiet outdoors and friendly staff were great. We took our dogs, which we normally don't do. They enjoyed it also. There was an ice cream social and free donuts and coffee, made life even better. We are planning a return trip and loved it. smilie

MessageThis was my family's first cross country RVing experience (31 Jul-6 Aug 10)and what a wounderful experience. This camp ground is managed with a personal touch. We stayed in site 75 and it was great, except when it rained really hard, then the water would run through leaving a mess. Can't stop nature. Being retired Army, the close proximity to Ft. Carson was a plus and 30 - 40 minute drive to all of the tourist attractions was worth it. Wounderful wildlife experiences abound in the morning and evening. The shear number of Humming Birds during this timeframe was amazing. Thank you all for helping us create a lasting memory for our children.
