| Message | Have just got home from a great week at Hedley Wood, 21/08/2010. It was our first ever camping trip, Marc, (Guinness, Jaspa our two dogs)and me Karen thought this place was great, we arrived late afternoon after a long journey full of delays. We went too reception and were warmley greeted and told that if we wanted to have a look round and choose are pitch, which we did. After much deliberation we chose a pitch on the lower meadow which had about 5 tents on it this was good for us as we have 2 dogs and needed the room. We set up and decided to head to the bar for a meal and a drink, we took the dogs into the bar as well, the welcome was great, food was great and the beer well it speaks for itself. It took us two days to get someone to take our money for our pitch, this shows just how relaxed the atmosphere was. The facilities here are good as i am very picky and dont usually praise many things (ask my husband Marc) but WELL DONE HEDLEY WOOD. We all look forward to coming here next year in June & August. PS If you dont want to eat or drink in the bar then we reccommend The King Arthurs Arms in Tintagel again the service, food and beer are great. |
