| Message | The Kopernik Observatory is a treasure located in Vestal, Broome County, NY State, notheastern USA! Everyone loves the 'view' through the 20 inch elescope. The staff members are knowledgable and helpful. The school and summer programs offer a wonderful experience for children and youth to explore science and math. |

| Message | I've loved Kopernik oce i set foot in its lobby. The opportunities that it opens up for youth and adults alike is fenominal. I have attended Link summer programs for 3 years!! Each year more and more students are coming, many return , because of the great experiences they have had! I remember 2006 Link 1 we had several students call home and ask to stay the second week. People even travel out of state , or across country to visit Kopernik. It has oppened my eyes to a whole new outlook of our solar system and others , and how space is filled with such beautiful objects that you can't see with the naked eye, but through the telescopes at Kopernik , allows everyone to see the beauty. Kopernik also gives kids the oportunity to see things, that many children never get to see in their lives. Many adults even attend Kopernik to see these objects . Without Kopernik the community would suffer with the loss of a learning center, science center , and an astronomy center unlike any other!! SAVE KOPERNIK , and save a peice of history that will ever be with all who visit Kopernik. People who visit Kopernik , are garenteed to have a lasting memory of that day!! Thank you For your time!! |

| Message | When I attended the Link 1 program in 2005, it changed my life, completely convincing me that my future lay in studying astronomy. I'm sure that Kopernik has changed many more lives, and it can not, and must not, close. Please join me in doing anything possible to save this wonderful facility. |
