| Message | One of the shy lurkers signing in here. I am not sure how I came across your site so I guess I can put myself in the "here by accident" category..although I feel these things are rarely by accident.  Something drew me here. I am Irish and was adopted at the age of 6 weeks old and am now in my thirties and we have 2 bio children of our own (would love to adopt no 3). Adoption is a wonderful, wonderful thing..as our family's nearly 40 years experience with it can testify. I have thought a lot about about what I would like to say to Sage...as one adopted gal to another! Sage...your forever and ever mummy and daddy will love you more than you will ever know or appreciate (especially during those teenage years!)until the day you have your first baby and all will become clear. Then like all new mothers you will step back and see them through other eyes and stare in wonder at their pure and simple love for you. A family is made from a deep love, not DNA or blood, but love and caring, sharing and nuturing day after day and month after month over a lifetime. You are blessed and loved and your parents are so very very lucky to have you. My wish for you is a wonderfully happy and loving childhood and successful and happy adult life. God bless you Sage as you set off on your journey to your new life and your forever family. |

| Message | Dear Shannon and Mark, I just love reading your travel journal!!!Every morning while my coffee is brewing I get on the computer to check your latest news. The descriptions you give and the emotions that you share are so real. I am so excited to see Sage tomorrow morning (monday morning my time). Shannon getting to know you has been such a blessing for me. Makenna says me and Sawyer were in a parade today with MOPS and we went swimming. We threw candy to Maline. I miss you both alot. Nina and Papa says we're pooped! | Message | Mark & Shannon, How very emotional I feel when I read aboutyour travels to pick up your daughter, Sage. Yes, your daughter, the one He has chosen for you before time began. We all take for granted the process of natural birth but the process of traveling through the world to pick up the child that the Lord has "chosen for you is humbling just as precious if not more so than natural birth. For the Lord has told you in Jeremiah29:11 I know the plans for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you...He certainly has chosen you 5 to be part of Sages's life and what a blessing. Praise God Almighty! Simply know that my prayers are with you each day as are Zion's and know that the arms of little Sage's can't wait to wrap themselves around her Mommy and Daddy, Grandma's and Grandpa's. The Lord is so awesome to handpick the perfect Mom and Dad and family for little Sage. How blessed she will be to have 2 big sisters and one very specal big brother, Sawyer! | Message | Hi Guys! Wow, what a journey! We are so incredibly excited for the two of you! Just know that you are in our prayers too, along with everyone else’s! Jan has been keeping me updated every time I see her and now I can get it straight from the source! I can’t wait to meet little Sage. I know she is going to be a huge blessing to your already wonderful family. Thanks for the wonderful stories on the web page, it is so cool. It reminds me of little Katie Hammon’s care page, where even though miles away, you feel connected because of the info and pictures. I can’t wait to see pictures from Monday with Sage in your arms.
