| Message | Hello, My name is Mitch Page. I own a 2008 9-3 wagon. My speedometer runs 3mph faster than the car is actually going (my GPS reads 60MPH and the speedometer measures 63MPH). I asked the dealer about this and he said, "It's built to spec." I am not sure what that means other than to dismiss my concern. Do you know if this is because SAAB calibrates the speedometer to a larger, sportier tire than those that come with the 9-3? Is there any suggestion you may have to pursue this and have it corrected? | Message | My limited edition 93 900 turbo ( # 33 out of 325 ) has only 155,000 miles  , looks and runs great but the "headliner"- fabric on the inside of the roof- is starting to fall down. In searching for a solution, I've been told that I need to purchase an entire new headliner - at the cost of $ 700. Anyone have a simple solution to glue it back up? ( superglue in a syringe??) | Message | I am part of a Community Supported Energy group as described in "Alcohol Can Be A Gas" by David Blume. One aspect of this venture is to obtain a vehicle that our mechanic can modify to run on fuel grade ethanol. He has a preference for a Saab. Is this the place where we might find a used one for our purposes? |
