Greetings from New Hamster. Thanks for the syncopated bowing lessons on "Black-Eyed Susie" back in Oberlin in '79. Rumor has it you were the real "Chino Vortex" back then. Stay well. "Ain't it great to be alive???" B&M
|Message||Mr Fiddla.....u the man....we wont miss the gig this time brotha....and yes i'll bring the mini zong|
About 30 years ago you were playing at the Old Meetinghouse in P-town and I, a budding young fiddler, sat in with you. You gave me a grin, played a couple of tunes too fast for me to keep up with and sent me on my away, desgruntled and swearing to get even. That memory was all but lost until I happened to come across the Beachcomber music schedule and found your website.
So, sir, the fiddle has taken me halfway around the world, opened some incredible doors and introduced me to some of the greatest people you could ever want to meet.
It's been about 30 years and it's time to settle scores.
Any time, any where.
It has been so many years, but I am still honored that you designated me to your friends as one of the top 100 listeners in the country. That and being treated to a private performance for Charlie at GoodTime Charlie's on the shores of Seneca Lake, NY ... I hereby resolve to join the current ranks of fans at live performances for recertification of my audiential standing.
All the best,
|Message||I miss seeing you in Provincetown every summer! Years ago you were at the Post Office Cafe and before that at Napi's. Caught you a few years ago at the Governor Bradford. Wish you would return.|
