| Message | For absolutely EVERYTHING you could EVER need to know about the Original 1939 version of The Wizard of Oz (including all the deleted scenes and little known facts such as the Lion was supposed to prove his bravery by fighting a dragon) go to: http://thewizardofoz.warnerbros.com Dave, I've absolutely no problem with not playing Glinda. | Message | Can I just inform YOU and all else who reads this, that "Wizard of Oz - The Pantomime" has been totally re written and also totally recast  . As it stands at the moment there will be two evil witches , one that we all love to hate (W.W.WEST) but she will be accompanied by her sidekick a bumbling idiot wicked witch Played by a man (R.A.P.A.G'S 1st Evil Dame) . There may be a Tin Woman  , but not yet definitely decided. Glinda (sorry John in advance  ) will definitely be played by a female in this production . And Scarecrow will be cast differently (sorry Woody ). All in all this production is going to be very different to the version we did originally a few years ago .I am on the look out for a choreographer to work with me on this show so any one know of any one with those skills and dedication please get in touch with me.This project up to now has got to be better than any other RAPAG pantomime we have ever done . Once script is complete I will be sending out copies immediately so you can be learning your lines . No auditions required for adults this year  . I have worked with you all now for so long that I know as Director who I want for each role  .See you All soon Gang – For Our extravagant BAFTA’S watch this space. David . |
