| Message | I myself watched The good Humor Man for the first time last night too on TCM. What a gem! Carson's portrayal of loveable character Biff Jones moved me enough that I am researching him now. Looking forward to seeing more of his films, thank you for providing this resource to his fans. Does anyone else think he looks like the Big Bopper in this movie? Especially with those eyes... Hellooo Baby! |

| Message | Durning the summer of 1959, I met Jack Carson in his suite at the Mapes Hotel in Reno, Nevada. Jack was appearing nightly in the Mapes'famed Sky Room. During the day he was filming an episode of the first season of the NBC-TV series, Bonanza. Jack's episode, "Mr. Henry Comstock" aired on November 7, 1959. Jack Carson was a very nice gentleman. He gave me an autographed photo and an NBC map of the Ponderosa. |

| Message | Wow, I never knew Jack Carson was born in Canada until now. I have just been watching him in Pffft (1954) with Judy Holliday and Jack Lemmon on Youtube, he was a memorable presence in so many roles. |

| Message | I love old movies, mostly 40's to mid 60's. I can't believe how many times Jack Carson shows up in these movies. I think he may have been the most employed actor in history and awesome to boot. I only wish more folks these days and especially the teens coming up now could appreciate these older movies and the lessons they offer. Much better for the health of our society than the current desensitizing entertainment that has become mainstream. God help us all, for the blessings they are missing not being exposed to entertainers like Mr. Carson, Doris Day, Cary Grant, Kathryn Hepburn, Fred and Ginger, and so many other greats. I know I must sound like an old lady, but only 55. My mom gave me the gift of loving all of these early creations. I am blessed! |

| Message | Byron Totally agree with you about his range. I could see him in the Music Man, could also see him in Marty, but it might have had a slightly different slant. The fact that we can place him in two very different films, both of which have famous leading men just shows how wide his range was. |
