| Message | Hi there i am in Melton on course at DAC for a week from the 21st to the 25th of May and will be coming up on me scoot from sunny Reading and i thought i would take in the rally at Skeggy while i was up in your neck of the woods. I was wondering if i could tag along with you lot. I have'nt got the fastest scoot in the world but she will bimble along at 50 all day long. | Message | With all the foundations firmly in place for the safe and stable future of the East Midland Scooter Alliance the Management Committee now feel with the ever growing membership numbers and clubs coming on board the time is now right to expand the running of the Alliance. It is our intention to throw the doors open to member clubs to elect a representative of their choice to be on the sub-committee of the Alliance. That elected person will have full powers to put forward opinions, ideas and vote on each subject raised at committee meetings throughout the year that their club ask them to do. Further details will be made available and issued to the club reps once their clubs establish them, but rest assured the Alliance is evolving. All reps need to pass on their full details to myself so I can set up a database and include them in the loop, failing to do so will only see that club miss out on info and input into the running of the Alliance. Club Reps need to be dedicated and able to give up time to attend meetings, meetings will be held periodically but no more than 3 to 4 times per year excluding the AGM. For convenience purposes only one member from each club will be eligible to attend and vote at meetings so it keeps it fair to all clubs. Each rep will be solely responsible for reporting back to their respective clubs all information given, voted on and decided at such meetings. Many thanks the EMSA team |
