| Message | Brave move, but if it helps you get to early retirement and your travel plans. We camp in an 8 foot popup Palomino slide in camper. We just got back from a 10 day 1500 mile trip. What always bothers the wife and I are trying to get comfortable in the evening if we are inside the camper. The fixed seating at the dinette just doesn't make it. When we can stay out under the awning in our lawn chairs we are fine. Did you do anything special to be comfortable inside? Since we do mostly off grid camping I have tried to get the camper as efficient as possible, this trip we averaged about 60 watts of battery power and 1.5 lbs of propane a day. Jim... |

| Message | I am researching a TC and found your web site! I have an F350 SD diesel crew cab SB and am looking at a Arctic Fox 860. I am learning alot about the mods necessary to make to travel easier, but I have not been able to talk to anyone about what it "feels" like to drive with a TC on and how safe do you "feel" when you are over the GVWR. I will travel with my wife and 3 young children, so safety is important. I would love to hear your thoughts. FYI - we live in the GJ area! Wayne |
