| Message |  We say go for it and enjoy. We only wish we had went to a truck camper before we got into our 60's. 5th wheeling was fun, but as we got older and traded up to larger units (requiring larger tow vehicles) we found it was just too much to try and move around. Keeping our last truck (a '03 Silverado duelly 1 ton w/ a diesel engine) we traded in our last 5th wheel and got us a 8 1/2 ft '08 Apache hardside with bath and toilet, full queen bed, 4 cf refer, microwave, etc. We can only travel a week or two at a time as we both need to return to home for doctors appt., etc., but love it. |
