| Message | Hello, there. I was looking for a good picture of the Davis Mountains to use as a study for a painting. Anyway, I stumbled upon your Texas 2009 pictures, and they are very lovely. The "Old Blue Mountains" though are actually the Twin Peaks, which overlook Alpine (where I live). There is a Blue Mountain on Hwy 90 going towards Fort Davis from Alpine, on the left before you get to the town. It's gorgeous. |

| Message | Your posts are so inspirational. I am 4 years from retirement and I look for trucks and truck campers every day, in my rear-view mirror,on-line, on Craig's List,on car and RV lots. I'm obsessed and cannot wait to diminish my worldly goods, simplify and hit the road. I have a 3-ring binder of rigs I like and places I love and pass the time till it's possible researching and reading travelogs like yours. Thanks for taking the time to share.
