MessageAs a die-hard SCI-FI fan who loves Star Trek, I was feeling the emptiness of space due to the lack of any "new" Space Adventure on TV. I happened to come across the Star Voyager books and I was immediately hooked.

I totally enjoyed the first 3 novels, they were full of detail, suspense and adventure. The technology of the "Alliance" is very advanced and I loved how thorough the author explained every detail of it, (Kirk and Pickard would be jealous of it) it really allowed my imagination to transport me into that far off future and live it. I could not put them down. I look forward to the remaining volumes to be printed.

Highly recommend it.

MessageSince you say you are interested in reading sci-fi as well as writing, I thought you might be interested in one of my own books. It's called Double Jeopardy, and tells the story of a group of friends who stumble upon a technologically advanced star ship from the distant future. The ship has been buried beneath the surface of a campsite, undisturbed since the last ice age but now discovered and unwittingly activated by Lynnette Taylor and her seven friends.

In this first adventure they are transported into a parallel world inhabited by Elves, Orcs and evil wizards, where they must help an old emperor locate his missing daughter. As the series continues, the reader will join Lynnette and her friends as they discover the terrifying events that led to the ship’s crash landing on Earth, and the fate of the original crew. What dark secrets are hidden in the rooms and corridors of the vessel? The young crew will have to find out if they are to survive and return home alive.

The book is available from Talisman Publishing, £6.99. If you are interested, please email me for the link.

MessageI just read volume one and found it pretty good. It was slow at first, but I hung in there and about half way through the book it got much better. The first half was too much background and even technical material for me. I just wanted to read an action packed story. I was rewarded after the technical stuff, because the story got real good. I will read the second book when I can get it. smilie smilie smilie smilie smilie smilie
