MessageThis is a message to 'A Punk', you grade 1 knobber, if you think "I'm in love with Maggie Thatcher" is a tribute to her, then all I can say is it's a shame you didn't hear it when it 1st came out in the early 80's, maybe then you would've GOT it and not made yourself look a 'cunt' as you so eloquently put it, ( if you don't know what eloquently means then ask your teacher) smilie

MessageThe photo on the homepage taken up Letcliffe park in Barlick was a great gig, pics of it were used on the single which brings back great memories,as 2 of the lads who invaded the stage are no longer with us. I've still got the original newspaper cutting with the headline 'A punk rock rumpus', Barlick didn't know what hit it, it was used to seeing only a few of us at that time, I was the 1st lad in Barlick to get bleached hair, the cops drove past about 10 times clocking me, it was a major thing back then and I don't know how they coped lol, most of my mates were punks that went to Colne youth club, and I got to know a load of punks from Burnley & Nelson, as a 15 year old kid it was a great time to be into your music, seeing gigs at the Union in Colne, gigs at Jimmy Nelsons etc. Looking forward to seeing you at the 53% Club in Preston, 'Punks not dead'

MessageI agree, Chris, that "all human beings deserve dignity in death" (although I'd prefer that the taxpayers' money didn't pay for the elaborate funerals of ex-Prime Ministers of any political persuasion) and would add that they (all human beings) deserve dignity in life, too. Ironically, the (offensive) post by the latest commentator on this page, seems to have proven my point about the irony of the track. Suffice it to say that the meaning of a communication is in the response it receives.

MessageWell done NotSensibles getting "I'm In Love With Margaret Thatcher" into the official U.K. top 40 singles chart!!! 8,768 sales in the first few days!!! Hopefully, we'll see the song hang on another week or two in the top 100. Perhaps it could also be included in the next Now That's What I Call Music compilation album? Maybe you'll be invited to play some of festivals this year too, Reading, Glastonbury, Leeds & Isle Of Wight? The crowd will love you!!! The best of luck to you all & I hope things go really well in the future!!!

MessageCunts. Thanks for your 'tribute' to all the punks who got nicked, harassed and beaten by Thatcher's bootboys- your music was shit too, ought to be ashamed of yourselves, tossers.
